From Our Principal

Founded in 1989, our College is named after its patron, James Gleeson, who was the Emeritus Archbishop at the time of the opening of Gleeson College.

Our college strives to follow the Archbishop’s personal credo, “Cor Unum” (One Heart).  This message permeates all we do at Gleeson from Year 7 to Year 12 and throughout our large staff cohort. My job, as Principal, is to work with and for our community in continuing to aspire to the notion of One Heart.  Where our community is genuine in seeking justice and peace, excellence in learning and a culture of pastoral care and support across all our year levels.

One Heart also symbolises our special relationship with our shared campuses and our nearby partner Catholic primary schools.

Gleeson is a very special place to learn and work and I look forward to working with you as your child journeys through Gleeson.

With One Heart
